The piRNA database of high-throughput sequencing data

piRBase is a manually curated resource of piRNAs, which focused on piRNA function analyses as well as piRNA annotation.

piRBase provides the following information and tools to facilitate piRNA function analyses:
1: Over 77 million piRNA sequences are collected with comprehensive annotations.
2: piRBase classifies piRNAs by biogenesis according to genomic annotation.
3: piRBase combines regulatory piRNAs and their predicted mRNA targets according to data from recent studies.
4: piRBase combines DNA methylation data and H3K9me3 data to facilitate studies of piRNA function in epigenetic regulation.
5: Genome Browser provides improved integration and visualization of the relations between piRNA data and other related information.
